It is nicely located within approx.3 min walk from Tambaguchi Station on JR Sagano Line which is only 1 stop away from JR Kyoto Station. In the Shimabara-Tambaguchi area known as the place associated with the Shinsengumi (a special police force organized in the late Tokugawa shogunate), there is a garrison spot of Shinsengumi, Mibu-dera Temple known as their grave site (approx. 10 min walk), and many other historical spots good for visiting on foot. Various tourist attractions are within walking distance from the location including Kyoto Aquarium and Umekoji Park which comes with Kyoto Railway Museum (approx. 15 min walk) and “Kyoto City Central Wholesale Market” (approx.6 min walk) which is one of the oldest food markets in Japan. It is in an attractive area as a place to stay or a starting point for sightseeing having many convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes in the neighborhood.

It is a newly-built Kyo-Machiya style rental vacation villa filled with the smell of wood. It is based on reservation, and having a great popularity as you can enjoy old Japanese architectural style in a relaxed atmosphere. Maximum 9 persons are acceptable for stay so hotel charge may become reasonable when you stay with your group of friends. It comes with a kitchen and a washing machine and is very convenient for a multi-night stay.
